Aurora Airport Appreciation Days will be held in concert with Aurora Colony Days on Saturday and Sunday, August 14th and 15th, 1999.

Antique aircraft, antique automobiles and the history of the Aurora Airport will be featured.

The primary venue will be AAA Aviation, located at the south end of the airport on Keil Road.  A PBY flying boat will be a center of attraction.

Visitors are also encouraged to visit Aurora Aviation, SkyWest Aviation and explore flying lessons or a scenic flight.

The airport is a valuable economic and transportation resource as well as a historical landmark in the Aurora area.

Everyone visiting Aurora colony Days is encouraged to visit the Aurora Airport, located just one mile from downtown on Airport Road.  Turn in at the AAA Aviation sign to begin your tour!
